COME ON YOU MIGHTY SKY BLUES

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

I've sort of changed my view on what "Typical City" means anymore. It seems like it means that they will back themselves into a seemingly impossible position and then suck it up and make a miraculous run. This Chelsea match seems like a perfect time for the new "Typical City" moment. They haven't looked as if they're going to score, they've had some stunningly horrible results and they're going into a situation that makes a win seem unlikely at best. That can only mean that the whole team steps up and plays the match of the season and downs Chelsea at SB.

Hart
Zab
DeMichelis
Mangala
Clichy
Fernandinho
Milner
Silva
Navas
Lampard
Aguero

Dzeko will come off the bench and score the winner and add a goal in extra time.

1-3 City

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

Not as confident as i usually am but City can win this if they turn up. Keep Hazard quiet go 4-5-1 and graft like fuck haha

Hart

Zaba Kompany Mangala Clichy

Fernando

Navas Fernandinho Silva Milner

Aguero

Hoping Mangala can be a good as he was when he played Chelsea last time. City have shown up plenty of times in the big games and can again just hope the refs not a **** we can't afford a red card again. We play anything like we did in the home game vs Chelsea (- Yaya) imo we'll beat them.

Lampard 90th min winner? Haha that would be fun to see.

Chelsea 1 (Hazard) City 2 (Aguero x2) COME ON CITY

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

Even with our first choice defence we look vulnerable and all over the place. I just can't see us keeping out Fabregas, Hazard, Oscar and Costa. Be very surprised if get anything from this game. You never know with City though.

Dont know why, but think we will bounce back and put up a good fight - hopefully winning but we will see.

Hart,Zaba,Kompany,Mangala,Clichy,Milner,Fernandinho,Silva,Jovetic,Aguero,Dzeko

I think jovetic would be good with silva behind the strikers or one of the 2 on the wing and dzeko needs to start for once with aguero showing he is needing help upfront till he is fully fit.
I like this team, except for the exclusion of Demichelis. I might play Fernando instead of Dzeko to start too.

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

I just want this game out of the way. A win or convincing draw could alot for our confidence, a loss might give us that 'nothing to lose' attitude and put us on a good run. Glass half full, but will take a 0-0 with 90 mins of the worse anti-football ever.

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

I think Mourinho will be more attacking than he normally would considering the players unavailable and the fact we're gifting away a couple of easy goals every game. Hopefully Aguero and Kompany are sharper for this than they have been. Going to take a huge effort to even get a draw. No Clichy, he has a nightmare at Stamford Bridge every season even going back to when he was an Arsenal player.

No worries about this game. City will bounce back to win it; the players always step up in the big games.. However, I am worried about the team MP will choose and his tactics. Been worried for some time now...

Leave it to the City fans to worry

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City
