So unless it's overturned he defo misses Sat? If he appeals does he make the City game?

They will hear any appeal on Friday. So basically he's fucked. I doubt they will appeal and risk an increased ban.

Cheers. Still gunna be very difficult Remy good enough to step in Drogba also but it's a start :) let's hope Fabregas is out as well.

Last nights fixture couldn't of panned out much better for the blues.

Top scorer suspended : check

120 Mins of end to end football: check

Injured/knackered players: check

Chelsea reach the final meaning fixture overload: check

Chelsea have been really fortunate to not lose key players this season. I am also surprised they haven't rotated that much throughout the campaign. Lets hope the return of our key players come just at the right time and we can be firing on all cylinders again. I feel Chelsea, as much as they will try to, cant fight on all 3 fronts. (CL, LC, EPL)

This could actually be a huge turn in fortune for us, and one we look back on at the end of the season

Come on City, lets fuckin do em now :)

I think people are forgetting too easily how diabolical we've been lately. No matter who Chelsea have missing, we seriously need to up our game and start taking our chances in front of goal

Clattenburg drawing up his plans to even things up as we speak.

Yep I didn't want him to banned spotlight would of been on him now MOANinho will park the bus

He was going to do that anyway mate. 0-0 would suit Mourinho nicely so his gameplan was always going to be let us have the ball, sit deep and hit us on the break. Torres/Nastasic/Hart style.

So is there still a chance he may miss sats game?

There is literally no chance that he will be playing on Saturday

There is a chance. They could appeal and win the appeal on Friday.

I agree this is very likely not happening, but it's not technically impossible. They could appeal and they could win.

Oh yeah not impossible, but the chances are incredibly slim

Arguably more chance that Yaya will be back for the game than Costa playing :)

I doubt they will appeal and risk him getting more games and missing the cup final.
