Premier League meeting to discuss salary cap?

The salary caps tend to include all payments. The last time it was discussed, it was suggested it would be based on a multiple of the turnover of the team with the lowest income, and would be set above what clubs are currently paying. If they want to stay within the cap the easiest way to give a bit more to the teams at the bottom, so you can see the 13 needed voting for it.
 
Get that salary cap in … for the owners who want to take more out. Along with the never haves who don’t have the ambition to challenge, like Parish, this will be joy to the ears of the Rags and Dippers.

Just another way where the rules will be set to protect owners, like when they brought in the rule to stop transfers after the start of the season, soon changed when certain top clubs realised that they would be disadvantaged when they wanted to spend.

Most likely the growing number of American owners in England will be pushing this hard imo and it might come to pass. Next probably the scrapping of relegation?

probably, but the dividend would diminish as the lure of the Prem to foreign players lessened and sponsorship and media payments became smaller and club revenue reduced.
No solution is simple but its introduction would probably hasten the move to the super Lge.
 
Unless it's a Europe wide cap we are going to destroy our own dominance and other leagues will snap up players who would have come here but went elsewhere for the money.
 
Why can’t they just tell the truth?

Salary caps for all clubs apart from united, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Double salary cap for city…

They will show those pesky upstarts.
