Premier League or Champions League?

I really am torn on this. When Chelsea beat City in the CL final I wasn't really arsed. Contrast that with the huge buzz off winning the league ...

Would be nice to complete the set. Champions league would go nicely with the title. I'd maybe even be happy to forgo the league Cup to do it and I was annoyed last season we didn't retain it.

What makes you think we wont travel? Cost implications?

I said I don't think we'll take as many as we would elsewhere (meaning western Europe), but yeah cost is going to be prohibitive for many. I think you'll be talking between £700-£1000 for the day trips. Realistically we would do well to take 10k supporters that would/could pay that. Ticket prices on top of that.

Maybe Sheikh comes up trumps again.

I actually want to win the Champions League more now, but I can also handle losing it.

Losing the league to Liverpool feels unbearable. Can't stand the thought of it.


So I guess I want to win the CL more, but I don't want to lose the PL more.

I know it doesn't make sense... :-D

It wouldn't shut anyone up, unfortunately. At the moment it's "lol can't even win the Champions league with all that money spent, Pep's a fraud"

If we win it, it'll be "Well with all that money spent you should've won it sooner and more than once, he can't manage without spending trillions."


I do want to win it, not at the expense of the league though.

In all fairness we have only won the FA Cup twice since the Sheikh took over despite being the best team for many a year.. Cup competitions are unpredicatble..OK some will argue the Carabao, but not quite the same prestige as the FA Cup...PL for me. Frankly preferred when it was a true CL, you could meet any club from the first round to the final..top four is bollocks, too many games, players tired, especially from the PL compared to Europe..I bet with the old system we would have won it by now more than once.

It will get the monkey of our backs and that's important, if I have to choose one, I'd still go with PL
