We got 4 pints of this on the Champions League night and threw them straight in the bin it was disgusting lolThe biggest improvement is from paper cups to the plastic cups.
I don't know who's fault it was at City, but the combination of Amstel Larger in paper cups was the worst tasting beer I have ever had. And that took some doing. Carlsberg in plastic bottles at Burnley wasn't far behind.
As for Asahi, it's not bad at all. For a beer at a football ground it's pretty decent.
Sadly it still doesn't come close to Beavertown - Gamma Ray Pale Ale that is brewed onsite at the new Spurs stadium. Fuck me, it's good!
The number one spot belongs to Beavertown Brewery, or at least their Gamma Ray American Pale Ale.
Other lines are available from the Tottenham-based brewers, and Heineken is also stocked at the new Spurs stadium, but while Mauricio Pochettino and his side will remain ranked only as high as dark horses for the Premier League title, their in-house hoppy associates sit pretty as the best the clubs of the capital have to offer.
Ranking every London club's official beer
There are no shortage of brewers with a link into the capital's top teamswww.football.london
Hopefully City will do something similar and incorporate a micro brewery into the proposed fanzine. I doubt it will happen. But you never know.
I'd love to know what sort of wrongun would venture into that shithole unless it's a match day.You pay £5.25 for a pint of pissy Carlsberg in Mary Ds on match days, Id say that's an even bigger rip off considering any other day in there the same pint costs less than £4.
That one season with the paper cups was the first one back after Covid. The biggest improvement is from paper cups to the plastic cups.

Over a fiver a pint, but hundreds still piling out on 36 minutes and returning at 50 to drink it.
