Of course it's of the club's doing

Serious question - have you actually got any mates?
Serious question, don't you know that when you resort to personal attacks and profanities you lose the argument?
I think we should let this one go.
I think you'd be well advised to stop being a drama queen and join us for a sangria or 3 in Madrid!
You know, I was just thinking the same myself (the Sangria not the Drama Queen) ;-)
Either way, enjoy Madrid.
What was the hot dog like? Some joint in El Retiro park was doing pints of Sangria and a hot dog for 3 Euros a pop when I was there in 2012 just after we won the league - think I'll be heading there for a couple of hours at least if the weather's pleasant.

Who is pulling the strings? I assume you are alluding to a terrorist attack? I think the chances of a terrorist attack being carried out by someone in the away end at a Champions League match is pretty remote tbh whether they make people pick up tickets at a hotel or not. The authorities will never know exactly who is in a football ground or who is hanging around in the city where a match is being played so why be particularly arsed about the away section that holds 2 or 3 thousand people? I just cannot see any reason that makes this process particularly necessary. I don't think it is anything to do with "points whoring," the club haven't been massively arsed about the integrity of the points system for a long time so no way IMO that they'd bother spending the time and money implementing this nonsense to stop some fans taking advantage of the points system. I certainly doubt it is fear of a terrorist incident occurring specifically in the away section of a City away match in Europe. So what is it all about? Why do they need to know the name of every person in the away end? The whole thing just seems odd to me and about bureaucracy for the sake bureaucracy. There are a lot bigger issues going on in the World at the moment, and security is more important than upsetting a few fans, of course the Club would rather see as many fans in the ground as possible, they aren't the ones pulling the strings !
Bingo, although our new security officer really would like to know who is in our bitWho is pulling the strings? I assume you are alluding to a terrorist attack?
