Prostate cancer

Made appt to speak with GP as I'll soon be 60 and noticed few little symptoms. Thanks to OP if I hadn't seen this thread I probably wouldn't have bothered.
The doc’s finger up the jacksey is not pleasant OB but it’s definitely worth getting checked.

Btw, when the Doc has his “finger” up your arse, make sure he’s not got both his hands on your shoulders, good luck, hope all is OK.

Just pi**ed me self at that brilliant!!!! Made me laugh out loud that.
Similar laugh I had a while ago while getting examined the surgeon showed me the probe ,
On seeing it I asked’ are you not taking me out for a drink first ? , made the nurses laugh .

Just bought some of that Rooby tea not bad is it. Trouble is i love my sausages, bacon and beef. not sure i can give them all up.
I’m similar, I don’t eat a lot of meat but like the cheap stuff, bacon and sausage. I’m averse to any kind of fat (always ask to cut it off bacon) so steaks are not for me, with one exception, I like a nice fillet with very little fat, Aldi do the premium one for a fiver so I get those now and again.

As the saying goes “a little bit of what you fancy does you good”.

Same as me mate it’s the stuff I like but probably contributed to where I’m at. My youngest is a vegetarian so we’ve been doing two meals a week for months that are meat free. So I’m pretty used to quorn but couldn’t live on it . Free range chicken and fish I should imagine for me and the family now. We’ve down loaded the NHS healthy eating app as well another what scans your food as well before you buy it. Plus going to do loads of supplements with anti toxins etc . I’ve received some great advice from some on here in what to get etc . Got three rumps steaks in fridge for my birthday tomorrow… the two dogs are in for a treat . Definitely going to get the tea you and hammo have mentioned.

Never ever be afraid of seeing a doctor, no matter how embarrassing it is. Today I’ve had a doctor probe my arsehole, physically look at it from less than 12” away then sit down and talked to me about his findings. Doctors and medical staff have the utmost professionalism and respect for patients. If you ever feel that something isn’t quite right, please go and see a doctor and get checked out. In recent weeks I’ve had a colonoscopy, 2 fingers up the arse (not together before anyone cracks a joke!) then todays examination. Next up is an MRI scan to check for anything else that could be causing my issues.

Apolgoes to jump in on the OP’s thread, your post has already proved influential as a few members have booked appointments. Guys need to stick together, be more open and honest about things especially in the private regions of our bodies.

Get checked out blues!
