PS4 OR Xbox One

Another reason kinect is horrible. Why do I have to say 'XBOX TURN OFF' as opposed to just 'xbox off' it ridiculous that this device I'm forced to pay £80 for can't tell the difference.
The device is at fault not the user.
It's because 'Xbox, Off' is too similar to other commands when translated. Project Cortana should help with this as it will be based on natural language queries rather than hard coded commands.

What games? Your lying to someone who had asked a genuine question just to suit your own agenda.
Not a single game is better on XBO. None, nich, nill, zero.
How about Forza, Titanfall, Dead Rising or Ryse for current games? I would say they are better, considering you can't get them on PS4. Project Spark, Kinect Sports Rivals, Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break all look pretty good too for future games, which again won't be available on PS4. As I said, overall the games on Xbox One probably just about edge the PS4 ones in my opinion, mostly thanks to a pretty good lineup of exclusives, though the graphics on the PS4 ones are probably a little better.

I'm amazed that someone like you has managed to work out how to register on an internet forum, never mind actually posting things.

Lol, I'm an IT engineer pal, you can become personal but it doesn't mean your onto a winner,

For every forza and I can say Gran tourismo. Don't make me laugh with Ryse...Jesus that's a poor game.
Every naughty dog game - that's game of the year 'the last of us' and the uncharted series.
For every project spark I give you little big planet - have you played the beta for spark? It's awful.

Anyways, it must be past your bedtime so I'm gonna go and play Lego Marvel....strangely enough on xbox one! Lol!

I don't agree with the more content at a quicker rate....FIFA has an exclusive mode but I'd rather have the better frame rate and smoother resolution.

Your spot on about BF4 though......I do have the XBO version but it's by pure fate I ended up with it.
The PS4 version looks much nicer but yeah, from what I can gather it's quite unstable.

Not really a reason to buy an inferior console is it though in all seriousness. EA f**ked BF up less on XBO. No reason at all is it.

This is my point, inferior how? Unless you have both consoles playing on an identical monitor next to each other the graphical differences are minimal. If you really want superb graphics above all else sell both of your consoles and buy a PC, you won't regret it.

Again in regards to stability, pro clubs on each console is not the same. I've seen people complaining on FPC (a clubs website for the competitive players) that they are being put into clubs games with other random teams when searching for games. I don't know if this happens on the Xbox but I've not witnessed it in a hundred games.

Kinect really does depend on the person, isn't there a 100+ page insanity thread on this site? It costs £99 to buy the DVDs, you get that and other workouts for free. For me personally this justifies the cost of Kinect alone.

Don't know about pro clubs but as I say, I play the xbox version and me and a few friends when all in the same party continuously get our into differs teams and different squads. It's a shame you can't just squad up before going into a game and resolve the prob that way.

As for your fitness example, fine - if you want to use the console to get fit then kinectbim sure is ok. Most people but a games console to play games on though.
Also the ps4 camera works very well and when you buy that it comes to a similar price as an XBO.
May as we'll buy a ps4 and a camera. Prob solved.

I don't understand why you don't have a PC for gaming, if you can afford both consoles price probably isn't an issue. The PC has the best exclusives, cheaper games and you can still use a controller if you know what you're doing. As graphics are the only thing that matters this would be your best option.

Why are you completely misrepresenting things like this as being fact? Have you actually seen the tracking that Kinect does for exercise? I would have said 'obviously not', as otherwise you wouldn't be making ridiculous statements like this, but then I've had the misfortune of reading the rest of your idiotic posts on this thread.

I used to game on PC's but they just became a pain. This won't work with that as the gfx drivers need updating. And this sound card etc etc.
Then the baby came along and my gfx card became out of date and I couldn't update it at the time and well.....nowadays price is an issue.
I wouldn't go back though. I've got a spare bedroom with a nice comfy chair in it all done up as a games room. I enjoy it rather than all that stress with pc installs.

I'm 'Monk3yFunk' on xbox live.

-- Mon Mar 17, 2014 10:42 pm --

Yes I have. Have you used the ps4 cam?

An IT engineer, eh? Good god, some poor mug got ripped off when they hired you. It's `you're`, by the way.

You are comparing games that are part of the launch window for Xbox One with unannounced games for PS4. Good job at trying to change the goal posts. You are also comparing high quality Xbox games, for example Forza, with substandard Playstation versions such as GT, the driving game that still contains car scans from the PS2 games. The PS4 has decent games right now and decent games under construction right now, but it's a pretty widely held opinion that the Xbox One games lineup is stronger than the PS4 one.

Good, it sounds about the right level for you.

Legos really good and I'm soooo tired of shooting games.

Yes, and it isn't capable of infrared tracking, so it's depth perception is too limited for proper full body tracking, especially in changing light conditions. It also needs fairly high contrast between objects, which isn't too good against light coloured walls with the lights on if you have pale skin. It also doesn't have built in heart rate tracking or an emotion engine. As I said, it's functionality is too limited and it suffers from similar issues to the original Kinect.

If you think the minor differences in PS4/ Xbox graphics for cross format games are a big deal then surely all the effort into updating drivers on a PC would be well worth it as most games on the highest settings shit on consoles.

Do you have a big TV in your games room? I've had this discussion numerous times with people in work that have their PS4s plugged into a 42" TV not realising that my Xbox looks graphically better on a monitor.

Great. I'm sure you'll enjoy using your heart rate tracker to turn your tv over with... XBOX OFF, XBOX OFF..... XBOX....oh FFS!!!! Where's that remote gone again!
