Anyone recall Wolverhampton's finest? Neon Hearts.
They made this double A side and the sleeve was one inch square bigger than a normal sized single sleeve - so wouldn't fit into your 7 inch single box!

Went to see these in 82 (as well as the Xmas on earth festival in 81) and was happily on the dole at the time when he introduced this song - there was a moment of pause / quiet and I shouted out ''The right not to work'' to much laughter!

My mate had this track on an early 80's Punk/New Wave album. We used to play this tune a lot. I met my ex wife and soon became estranged from my mate. I got engaged then married and had kids. I think he became an heroin addict and died from a drug overdose in 2004. Missed his funeral.
RIP Ian Hope.

I went over 25 years without hearing this song. Still knew the tune and all the words. I managed to track it down on the web and was overjoyed when I played it again. Wasn't easy to find though as it's a very rare track
