Punk and New Wave thread.

Saw the Boomtown Rats at Middleton Civic Hall, us and about a hundred others.
Went to see my mate at Sheffield Uni to watch Talking Heads and as we were there early helped them hump the gear in. Tina Weymouth, what a cutie.
Dire Straits were support and boy were they dire although I remember a ditty called sultans of swing being ok.
Hit the bar rather than listen to them.

Not really Punk or New Wave as such but The Macc Lads were(how can I say) not to everyone's taste. Infact they split due to being banned all over the uk for their explicit lyrics. So if you easily get offended, better not listen.
Take them or leave them here's a few of their best tracks IMO. They can play a bit too.

MACC LADS - You have been warned!

1: Sweaty Betty
2: Beer & Sex & Chips n' Gravy
3: Fluffy Pup
4: No Sheep Till Buxton
5: Helen Of Fowey
