The UK Subs fan club was advertised in one of the music papers. I think it was NME. I joined the club by sending an SAE plus £1.99... or there abouts which I saved up a months pocket money for.

I later bought a Warhead T shirt for about a fiver after saving up another couple of months pocket money. Ha.

I know of Cock Sparrer but never listened to them.....is that a good example of how they sound? Cos that's feckin brilliant

It's one of my favourites by them but seems to be quite obscure and rarely played live.

Not bad. As others have pointed out, a lot of bands that were maybe a little more post-punk are missing.
Big A Little A should be higher and if you’re going to have a bunch of Exploited songs in there, I’m amazed Fuck the USA didn’t make it.

I think they are more remembered for foam and other crap being part of their act more than their songs

Certainly the Dirk Wears White Socks era was punk. Kings of the wild frontier was a lot softer yet twin drummers banging away

People forget once he started having Top10 hits that Adam Ant was considered quite punk, edgy and alternative early on. Mad as a fistful of shit as well which is how I want my rock stars to be. I don’t want a down to earth guy proving anybody can do it

Finally found the other 7 inch i had.... i said Guatemala and it had a map on the cover. Something to day made me think El Salvador.... and Googled it and this came up! And Guatemala is on the map ha ha I knew I wasn't going Insane (insane, get it??)
