Well we found our best formation which basically involves Mike Dean sweeping up at the back with crucial blow ups at the right time and excellent use of yellow cards in the first half.

Lowest percentage for completed passes this season says it all. Confidence is on the floor and most of the team are a bag of nerves. Still too many sloppy goals conceded. Mentality is pretty much shot and thank God for Sergio. On this form the title is gone.

Pellers putting a brave face on it but a lot of work needs to be put in.
Dean played a blinder for us today .
Are star man a part from Sergio .

Our
That poster always puts ''are'' instead of ''our''. Not sure why.

i really cant be arsed reading all the negative shite on this thread , today we played an in from QPR side who chelsea really struggled to beat at home and had to rely on a dodgy penalty to beat them
These are the facts
We showed fight and commitment and if some of our so called supporters showed similiar commitment and got behind the team , instead of stabbing them in the back at every opportunity with there whining , moaning , whinging posts on here , our club might just make a fist of defending our title. The point we gained today just might win us the title .

I blame the recruitment policy since we won the league in 2012. Look at our best players... Hart Zabaleta Kompany Toure Silva & Aguero all been here since pre 2012. What have we done in the 5 transfer windows since we won the title in 2012?

Who is that (very good) question for? Maybe its the 2 amigos we should be questioning, not the manager

Anyone else notice how our goals were from direct play, big balls over the top?
Qpr were set up to defend deep in and around the area when we had possession in their half. Both times we put it long, they were not expecting it and were undone.

Just a thought. Direct football can be effective.

It can be when you have a striker of Aguero's quality playing.
Today I agree as he was alone when receiving it. Shows the quality of the man that for a small player, he can receive a high ball against a giant defence, wriggle past them and score...TWICE! The funny thing is we play a direct game in a 4-5-1, when dominating the midfield and possession is a mores suited option for the tactic. Yet in 4-4-2 we try and dominate possession whereas a more direct game, where one target man can knock it down for a poacher and support the poacher, feeding him chances is going to be a more effective strategy, we just play slowly on the ground!!!

Nothing necessarily wrong with the formations. We just seem insistent of playing along the floor, slowly because it is 'pretty' and holistic.
