january is now our biggest window since the takeover. we stutter along till then and try to stay in the top 3. if thats the case then we can buy correctly and kick on from there. fanny and the season is over.
Nobody decent enough will come to City in January, the best players will still be in the CL (well most of them will ;o) ).

I wouldn't waste a penny in January, because if these players can't improve under MP, then he'll be gone in the summer, and the new guy will probably want whole scale changes (which I think are required anyway). Leave it till summer, hope we improve, or write this season off apart from the FA Cup.

I actually doubt with our current form in europe that the best players will come here anyway, we've already seen a number say no, and our current european form will be setting off alarm bells with most of the best. Time for a rethink, look at up coming talent (20-25 year olds), and build a new team around a few of the regulars, even if it takes a couple of seasons, we can still qualify for the CL (essential) and maybe improve our form in it.

iwant to sign players in january as to steal a march on the others in the summer. then next august everyone is in place and we go again, from the off.

It's a bad run of form. They happen to every team. QPR is a tough place to go there team has some quality players and they are in really good form. Can't win every game 5/6-0.

Some comments on here about players being lazy are ridiculous. The players gave everything today, it just wasn't enough.

Sorry, but can't agree with you on several points. Firstly, it is not about winning every game 5/6-0. It is about just getting 3 points. QPR is not a tough place to go to, hence they got relegated and they even got beaten by burton albion.

This kind of run does not happen to truly top sides. Please let me know when Bayern, Real Madrid, PSG and even Chelski had the kind of shit run we have had. We got beat by the hammers, CKSA, newcastle and scraped a draw with QPR who are currently 2nd bottom and 13 points behind us - not exactly teams that are setting the world on fire. If we had lost to Chelsea, Dippers, Arsenal and even southampton, then perhaps we could call it a bad run of form.

City have lost the plot. I like Pellers, but sometimes the quietest are the most arrogant. Every time he gets asked a slightly probing question in the Press conferences, he gets all defensive, prickly and turns into a scratched record. And his answer after the CSKA game was 'I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG'. Is that someone that inspires? If he does not know that clearly something is seriously wrong and is not prepared to change anything and keep on with the same old mantra of 'playing our game', then he is a truly stubborn fool.

The teams that beat or drew with us recently, have done nothing more than a bit of home work. At the QPR game, I watched how many times Pellers came to the touch line to give out orders compared to 'Arry. 'Arry' shouted and screamed, pointed, jumped up and down. Pellers shoved his hands in his pocket and shrugged his shoulders.

Even Sergio, 2 days ago that city had to 'adapt' their game. Apparently, Pellers does not agree with the 'best out and out striker in the world'. Sergio might not manage the team but he knows and is prepared to adapt.

Go and watch our 1st 12 games of last season we were just as shocking..

Its a good plan, but who that we really need would come in January ? Few if any that would improve us significantly, that are not in the CL, we tried last year for Fernando and Mangala, and they turned us down, preferring to wait, and/or their club weren't willing to sell, which is the other point about January.

The points total was abt the same but we were far from shocking
You could see we were ready to go on a pretty impressive run, which we did....

Absolutely shocking performance from some of the players, they simply don't care about the club or fans fucking mercenaries! Some players are causing trouble in this squad and it's time to get them as far away from the club as possible. Feel sorry for pelles but he needs to wise up and fast. Big problems with our transfer policy and scouting, clearly bringing the wrong type of characters to the club will they ever learn. These players can't be allowed to get away with this shocking defence of the title yet again. Get them out fast

and the realists were proven wrong in 2012 & 2014 , luckily despite everyone awarding chelsea the league title , my bookie is still taking my money at 8/1 , and i look forward to collecting my winnings in May , just like i did in 2012 & 2014 .

And in 2013?

apologies i am not a rag , i dont have the inbred arrogance of expecting to win the title every year , but i will settle for 5 or 6 in the next decade. If you want to win a title every year go and support celtic .

You cannot come on here and suggest people go and support another club, you will have a knock on your door from some undesirables. The wife's still in shock after we found a horses head in our bed after I suggested similar.

Family friend got out of hospital Friday and Tony Book came to see him at home (childhood mates). I asked TB what he thought about the recent managers. He said of Mancini he was "the most arrogant man I've ever met, but a born winner". On Pellers he said "the most humble, charming down to earth bloke in the world". BUT he said Pellegrini "was a gonner". Whether thats his personal view or that of the club is unclear. I think it was his personal assessment but there does appear to be something not right

It all boils down to supporting a winner or a loser.
Out of our past and current managers Mancini is head and shoulders above when it comes to winning.

If Mancini were still here, half of our best players wouldn't.

Blame MP all you want but it's those two arseholes above him who spunked a load of money last year to scrape two trophies yet the main men were the same bunch (The beast aside), from the last title win. Since their involvement, on the pitch we have got weaker. A good comparison is PSG.
Mate give it a fucking rest. The stuff some posters come out with is fucking cringe worthy

We were dreadful away from home in the first six games, go back and look at the match threads from early last year. Defence was porous, daft goals given away, much as now.

Our real issue so far this season, is we don't have that 100% home record we had last year at this stage, that's where the damage has been mostly done.
