QPR Post Match

Absolutely shocking performance from some of the players, they simply don't care about the club or fans fucking mercenaries! Some players are causing trouble in this squad and it's time to get them as far away from the club as possible. Feel sorry for pelles but he needs to wise up and fast. Big problems with our transfer policy and scouting, clearly bringing the wrong type of characters to the club will they ever learn. These players can't be allowed to get away with this shocking defence of the title yet again. Get them out fast

Weird game yesterday. Pellegrini finally clicked a decent team and formation but the players didn't step up. We couldn't keep the ball and trying to hold this defensive line to play offside is so dangerous with a new backline every week. We are basically being carried by Aguero at the moment, take him out and I'm afraid we become barely top 4. We are just so weak across the pitch. No midfield control yesterday, no good full back performances, defence at times all over the place. One good performance was Joe yesterday who basically kept us in it. The rest though just weren't good enough, Yaya had a better game but it was still poor to his standards, he does seem more comfortable when he has Fern and Fern to cover though.

Struggling for positives really, the team certainly lack confidence which I just cannot understand when we did well against the scum last week.

Couple of great long passes from Mangala

Plenty have emphasised the negatives, but there was some moments of quality and we came back from two down twice. Showed a bit of bottle.

I know there are some problems, but I reckon we'll turn it around in the League at least.

I'm with you Marv, after a shaky start he settled and did ok. Everyone expects him to land running for his pricetag. New country, new language, new team etc etc, just needs to settle proper and he will become a solid partner for Vinnie.

I too thought there were signs of fight in the team

The points total was abt the same but we were far from shocking
You could see we were ready to go on a pretty impressive run, which we did....
We were dreadful away from home in the first six games, go back and look at the match threads from early last year. Defence was porous, daft goals given away, much as now.

Our real issue so far this season, is we don't have that 100% home record we had last year at this stage, that's where the damage has been mostly done.
I agree the defence was bad but you got the feeling we were ready to click, cardiff, villa & sunderland we battered but got fuckal, you just can't say the same this season....We really need to go on a 10/12 match winning run to have any chance whatsover of the title..

One thing we do need is someone else finding the net regularly other than Sergio, because that is a real worry, if we lose him for any stupid reason (international week pending) we might as well bring back Pearce on current scoring trends.

Don't expect any signings in January, nor do I think there should be. Stick with what we've got. Use the academy to cover injuries/suspensions like most other clubs. I've pretty much given up on this year, so use the remaining games to prepare for next years quaddie.

Point gained

You have to remember that this was our 3rd game in 6 days. Some players like Clichy really shouldn't have played but had to because Kolarov was out.

We had no fresh players to use today except maybe Nasri and he's just coming back from injury. Sagna is not good enough.

We survived and can re-group. Wasn't a good performance, but did you expect that after the week we've had? No chance

We can come back in the title-race. It's going for Chelsea at the moment, but there's a long way to go.

A gold nugget in a sea of slurry !

And I'll agree with that as well. Considering the weather, the size of the pitch and Dean allowing QPR players to barge and foul ours with pretty much absolute impunity, I thought we did well in the end to come through it.
What is of real concern though is that we are down to just one forward (an unneccessary risk we created when we sold Negredo) and there are real problems in the middle of midfield. Everyone has been crying out on here for the two Ferns to be handed the central midfield berths, with Ya Ya shoved further forward; well we got that yesterday, but all three were pretty poor and as a combo it didn't work at all. Not hard to see why then we extended Lampard's contract, as he looked a class above all of them when he came on, and much as I agree with Cleavers about shopping in January, I think we might have to.

It all boils down to supporting a winner or a loser.
Out of our past and current managers Mancini is head and shoulders above when it comes to winning.
Mancini two trophies at City, Pellegrini two trophies at City. Head and shoulders?

That's a really stupid comment. The only thing that stopped Mancini from winning more here was the people above him letting the players run the show. Same thing now. What do you think Mancini would do about the laziness? Some of our "stars" wouldn't even make the sub bench right now. Do you even remember the air tight defense that Pellegrini has seemingly worked to destroy? Watching this team is grueling these days. WWe need a manager who knows how to switch up tactics to counterother teams game plans, knows how to motivate and most importantly, HAS A F**KING SPINE.
It may be a stupid statement in your opinion but it's also 100% accurate.
You mentioned the air tight defence that Pellegrini has seemingly worked to destroy. Yes, we conceded more last season that in the previous three but we also won the PL with that "destroyed" defence.
And if our stars wouldn't make the bench due to their laziness who would play? We have no youngsters coming through as we loan out any kid that might be half-decent.
I'm not saying MP is the greatest manager of all time, but reading some of the stuff after recent shambolic performances it appears we won the league in spite of having a poor manager.
