My surname is Anglo-Norman in origin and dates back to shortly after the Norman conquest of 1066. I'd be massively shocked if there were anybody alive today whose DNA was wholly indigenous to this piece of lad known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Seriously, who gives a toss in this day and age where someone originates from?

Not racist in my opinion as the term “British” includes all creeds and colours who were born here. The foreign born population in the UK is around 13% and hopefully we will add to this when we sign Haaland

I agree the term "British" should include all creeds and colours who were born here.

But the people who flew that banner disagree. That's why it's racist.

It would make absolutely no sense if that were the case because over 80% of the population was born in the UK, and with the new post Brexit restrictions coming in that percentage is only going to increase when young people in the 20% start having children and the older ones die. It's clear that they mean some convoluted definition of the indigenous population which effectively means people who look like the majority.

And Haaland was born in Leeds.

I don’t care where anyone is from or what race they are, I just wish more people would be more intelligent and less racist. Who’s more valuable to society, a ‘non-white’ doctor for example, or some violent right-wing gobshite arsehole?
