Look closely. The ball is clearly touched by Welbeck's instep. The ball then doesn't change direction at all, and rolls away, signifying no other contact. It's just the angle - which Webb shares, that makes it look as if Cahill got the ball.

So really, it was the linesman's fault for not seeing it. The same linesman Ferguson berated for not seeing it. But hey! Let's not let facts and logic get in the way of a good conspiracy theory, eh?

Cahill didn't touch the ball, how can that not be a foul? Was outside the box, mind.

you guys definitely have problems with your eyes if you see any kind of foul there and if you don't see that Cahill touched the ball. The only significant contact happened when Cahill was trying to stand up and that's natural movement and never a foul

But I've seen bigger denials before though so it's cool

If that would of been Vinny or joleon they would of gone for that.

Boyata did go for something much like that against Arsenal where the ball was going away from the goal! Ruined the whole game for us, an early sending off just like against the rags in the FA Cup (Kompany), though we nearly had the cheats, an extra 10 minutes and it would've gone to a replay at least.
