He was average to be honest, no better or worse than Lingard or Ali any of whom could have been substituted. Probably should have scored early on, certainly should have done better with the chance but unfortunately it's all fuel for the Sterling haters.

He should've done better with the chance but it was irrelevant anyway as the offside flag was up.

You can see the difference it makes to Rashford having no pressure at all. He comes on and has a go safe in the knowledge that if everything he tries comes to nothing then he gets praise anyway.
