According to the

Manchester City have reportedly made an initial offer for Liverpool's Raheem Sterling.
Liverpool are all but certain to demand more than £30 million for the 20-year-old, which is likely to kick off a bidding war among City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid. Considering Manchester City's dearth of homegrown talents, one might expect them to be willing to pay over the odds for the England international.
