Like i said, he has great potential and yes he is only 20 years old and i would like him at City, but i very much doubt he will be as good as Reus at 25. Thats just the way i see it.

Reus is a superstar, Sterling is just potential at the moment, so the first person i would be picking up the phone for is Marco Reus.

Total guesswork though. How anyone can say how good a player will be in 5 years is speculation. Some of the worlds best players were nowhere at 20, some 20 year olds tagged as the next big thing never materialised that way.

Sterling would be a gamble but a calculated one. If you look at other "golden boy" winners probably 7 or 8 out of 10 have gone on to be top class footballers and some the worlds best. Not bad odds.

I agree mate.

With Sterling we would definitely be purchasing the player he could become rather than the player he currently is, but still all the signs are there showing he has the potential to become a very good footballer.

I know
Selling to likkle City is better than to them

Guaranteed Dipper propaganda when this goes through:

"We sold to moneybags City instead of the Rags, and we ripped them off in the process. They got the mercenary for £50m and we got honest Milner for free".

When in reality, it will be the other way round. Milner and Sterling's basic will be similar at worst, and add in Milner's substantially larger sign-on fee, the Dippers are about to get royally ripped off, either by us or Le Arse.

It's a lovely feeling

If he's sold, one thing is certain, where ever he ends up, they'll not get him cheap. I wouldn't go as far as to say either party would be getting ripped off but it would certainly be leaning more towards the dippers ripping off the buying club rather than the other way around.
