You cannot specify confidentiality in a bid for someones player and Liverpool are well known for relasing player signed and sold figures. Liverppol will be briefing the media all the time to try make everyone look like the bad guy and poor old Liverpool

Barkley isn't really an alternative to Sterling though is he?

Do we have a Plan b if the Sterling bid is rejected? Or at least one that might make Liverpool think we have other irons in the fire?
