so what will the next offer be?? will it just be £40m cash upfront as mentioned or will we go to £45m?

All sly sports is saying is Liverpool WILL reject the 40m. But they haven't yet have they? They rejected the 1st one instantly, but I've not seen an official statement yet rejecting the 40m one. All I see and hear is that they are going to and will etc.

If City already offered £40m then why the fuck not just make it £50m unless this is a matter of principle/ cut your nose off to spite your face situation

I don't care what he costs to be honest amortised costs would be £8m or £10m a year if the club think that they can afford it then who am I to complain

Its just about billy big bollocks attitudes by us the fans. We are concerned about "being ripped off" and Liverpool fans gloat about "fleecing us" its about bragging rights in the pubs but at the end of the day if they sell to a rival they lose a top player which is going to make them less likely to be a top 4 team we get a player more likely to make us league champions who are the winners? They will be regarded as just another selling club who aren't able to keep their best players and makes their proposition to any player of being a top club more difficult to sell

The other thing I have noticed is that City, who since the takeover have been the quietest club in the world seem to have completely changed briefing every single outlet in the world about the intimate details of their business. Or could it be that the press haven't got a clue what is going on so one writer (there are no journalists) picks a figure and runs with it. The next claim "sources state" the next "sources understand" until all of certain figures and names are bandied as absolute fact. We bid £25m plus add ons, we then bid £40m...yeah right.

The truth is none of know what we have offered if anything and what has been rejected if anything it is all in the realm of speculation which is fine we as fans and even the media can speculate but lets not pretend that anyone knows what is really going on

Everything agreed with Sterling he's ours, wants to come just the brinkmanship with Liverpool to suffer whereas we would have to go through it all again with other players who might not necessarily want to come to us, just have patience. Also he's HG which is important to us

this and only this.

I want sterling but id take isco instead. I fear real will only do business if we agree aguero becomes part of the deal.....no fookin way!!.

Also, we don't sort out the home grown quota.
