Bluemoon 98 if he cannot put a simple lob in the net now or improve his passing he never will. Its not as though he is 16, players do not improve considerably once they hit 20. £40M is a lot and way over the top for what Andy Townsend would call a speedboat without a driver.

City groups on FB saying we should give it up, they're making us look stupid and all this but I keep explaining HG talent Sterling who is only has the capability to be world-class in 5/6 years time, he has loads of time ahead of him. He may be worth double that amount if/when we let him go if he joins of course ;-). Look at the season in had in 13-14 with a top class striker in Suarez - it will be the same if he joins us with top class players like David Silva and Sergio Aguero playing with him rather than Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge.

Exactly, he'll be in a far better team who create more chances. There will also be less pressure as Aguero, Bony, Silva and De Bruyne will also take the goalscoring burden off him.

Manchester City have coveted the signature of Raheem Sterling since he was 15, as Brian Marwood, then in his capacity as the club's football administrator, was a regular visitor to Loftus Road to watch him at Queens Park Rangers.

Sterling eventually decided to choose Liverpool and the chance for more immediate first-team opportunities, but Marwood and current director of football Txiki Begiristain have not completely given up on the dream of signing him.

Just read this..
Marwood again FFS..

I think all that needs improving is his decision making and finishing and he will pick that up quite easily with silva and aguero

Do you

Do you even watch football mate? He's 20 years old. His finishing isn't perfect but he's got ages to rectify it.
