They've wheeled aldridge out to spite some bitter bile again I see:

"Man City’s owners have sanctioned a final offer [for Sterling] of £40m in cash, with bonuses that will push the deal closer to the £50m Liverpool are demanding"

"City will have to hope Sterling develops because they could be looking at an expensive mistake if he fails to hit the ground running when the pressure is on next season".

"I've watched Sterling develop and he always looked like a classy player in the making, but I’m sure Aaron Lennon and Shaun Wright-Phillips looked just as good when they burst through the ranks".

Keep your big nose out aldo you twat. If he's that shit stop banging on about him. You worry about yourself and your europa league rather than what we do

Usual crap from the Daily Star. Starts as an article about Wilshire and morphs into one about Sterling. I'm posting it because it references the BM Raheem Sterling thread and some BM poll or other re the same subject. So stop talking crap because they're watching you and quoting you.

Here's the gist of the text for those who can't be arsed with the link.

City need to increase their quota of home-grown players.

So Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling, 20, remains a strong target, although they will also continue to purse Wolfsburg’s Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne, 23.

If Wilshere arrives at the Etihad, either Fernandinho, 30, or Fernando, 27, could be sold.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are increasingly confident of completing a £11 million deal for Chelsea keeper Petr Cech, 33.

Meanwhile, City fans are split over whether the club should sign Liverpool contract rebel Sterling.

Thousands of Etihad supporters responded to the Blue Moon website when asked the simple question: Do you want Sterling?

One said: “No thank you. Overrated. Overpriced and he’s not professional enough.”

Another said: “I can’t stand the little princess. As for his valuation, he’s worth forty quid and a box of balloons.”

But another fan said: “Pay whatever is required because the lad is a future £100m-plus player.”

And he was backed by the post: “100 per cent yes for me...even if he costs £50m. He will improve our first team and he’s only 20.”

So Firmino is a guaranteed success, and Sterling may or may not make it.

Seems sensible enough, not biased at all.
They're so fucking deluded. Firmino has a bit of a reputation here (in Germany) for inconsistency, but apparently 5 minutes after his debut Sterling is going to be a distant memory.
