The window OFFICIALLY opens on July 1st mate so just relax. Any contracts wont begin until then earliest so whats the point in announcing it other than to make a few feel better on here?

Sterling is in the bag imo.
To announce them to the fans and move on to the next target.

Again we must be the only club to take the approach of waiting for the window to officially open if that's true. It makes no sense to drag it out if its completed. Almost every other club in the league have announced a signing prior to the window opening yet we apparently finalise deals and choose to wait......

Yes i think your right. We just need to have a little bit of patience and let the club give us the info when they see fit.

Does it matter. It's June.

Why do we have to be like every other club? Maybe the club are delaying announcing it for a reason we don't know. For me the most important thing is that we get these players and not when the we are told.

NOT AN ISSUE BECAUSE MOST OF US ARE NOT AS NEEDY AS YOU

Flappers will flap, it's what they do. If the club had announced already the players coming in they'd all be flapping next week we did business far to early & could of saved £2m here or there if we had waited! The club can't win lol.

I appreciate clubs want replacements in so when Firminho was announced last Wednesday why have we still heard nothing?

What are we waiting for if its all done? We must be the only club that apparently completes deals then waits weeks to announce them if that's true.

I also think we have an agreement with Liverpool over Sterling and that part of that agreement is that they get to spend on the players they want before the announcement on Sterling. Madrid did the same with Spurs over Bale. Its as much about appeasing the fanbase as anything else and by the time we sign Sterling they will have convinced themselves they have got the best of the deal and the media will no doubt nod along with it by and large.

But the proposal here is that a deal has been agreed but not announced by the clubs choosing. So under that circumstance we would be paying his salary already.
