Because if we were anywhere near agreeing a fee for him he wouldn't be at Melwood training with the scousers

Like Baloteli wasn't training with Inter when we'd pretty much signed him you mean ?

I don't think you have any idea what City have or haven't done, but are just deciding to put your own slant on it, for god knows what reason.

Your right mate, the reason he hasn't signed already and was at Melwood training today is because we are actually all done and dusted and thought we'd save on the washing of his kit for a couple of days.

Or a thousand other reasons, none of which you or me have any idea of.

But the difference being, you pretend you do.

I don't pretend to know anything mate.

The fact is if everything is agreed and we have decided not to announce it so he is ready for the start of pre season then wtf is all that about? Since when has announcing a player been more important than getting him in at the earliest opportunity.

Alternatively if as is seemingly plausible by TH's bullishness we have agreed terms with the player then the only other thing to do is agree with the team. So why haven't we been able to do that? Surely the negotiating personnel (whoever they are) need to be questioned.

The 3rd option of course is we are waiting for Liverpool to sign a replacement. As Firminho is the direct replacement why would we wait for them to sign him, Clyne and Benteke before we announce him knowing that it is likely that Sterling would miss the start of pre season if we had to wait for them to close 3 large transfers.

The kid is still a Liverpool player and needs to stay fit and train as usual. The key development will be if he goes on their pre-season tour or not, that will tell if anyone is in discussions, Liverpool wouldn't risk an injury hampering a massive million pound transfer.

dont be a tart,do you really think those working for us have been sat scratching there bollock bags dithering about what move to make next
No, I believe they are playing some sort of hard ball with Liverpool by not stumping up the extra £5m which is dragging this transfer out
