Does anyone even know what wages he wants? There’s been a contract on the table for him for a year or so. This clearly isnt about wages, like everyone is making it out to be. He clearly wants to be guaranteed starting games (which he’s obvs not getting at the moment, hence he hasn’t signed the contract).

I’m not sure why this isn’t the current mainstream opinion, as it checks ALL the boxes!

Throw in the fact that Haaland would love a guy who can beat the left full back down the right wing, and get the cross in, and Haaland might actually kickstart Sterling’s waning career at City.

If he wants to leave, he can do a season standing on his head for an 8 figure signing bonus ANYWHERE next year!
