Why do people post stuff like this? We just 100% would not stick him on the bench for the season, you know it so why write it? “Pep would be happy with that”, don’t make me laugh.
Is he an automatic starter? Pep will focus on players that will want to be here. We have alot of players available in his position, haaland and alavez will already reduce his chances of starting. Personally I think he will be sold but I can't see the club playing him week in and week out if he doesn't extend not saying he won't play but think he will be used more as an impact sub. KDB and foden played alot as the false nine last season that won't be the case this season so someone is going to have to drop out.

Bernardo Silva didn't want to be here last summer. He didn't want to be here at the start of last season either, in fact it's been widely reported that he sulked through preseason, wasn't his normal self, and his head only get back in the game after the transfer window closed and he knuckled down. Was a similar story with Laporte who spent most of last summer hoping for a move to Barcelona.

There is indeed a lot more competition for places with Haaland and Alvarez coming in for the 9 spot. However after Foden, none of Grealish, Mahrez, or Sterling are guaranteed to start. The question of who drops out will depend upon how we use Haaland, and who links up with him best. My guess is that Mahrez is going to be the one to miss out more than the other 2. Especially as pep wants to give Palmer games next season too.

Merlin ha , I bet they have played roughly the same amount of prem games and there is no way Silva has been more involved in goals and assists as Sterling , keeping the ball and ticking it over maybe passing is backwards and sidewards he will piss all over Sterling , twice the player no chance , anyways hope you are good mate up the blues
Fucking hell this must be one of the worst posts I have had the misfortune of reading

Mahrez was one of our best players last season in attack. Probably one of our best players overall. I don't see Mahrez missing out next season.

He started more games last season than Mahrez, Grealish and Jesus.

So as far as our wing options go, yeah he pretty much is as close as it gets.
Lol he is hardly an automatic just because he play abit more then the other opinions plus you have to include the fact he played multiple positions, he was used rotationally last season. For the record I rate sterling and think playing with a forward will increase his goals and assists alot but if he stays without signing a new deal I think he plays alot less then he did last season.

Who are the automatic choices ?
Of the current players, I think Kevin, Rhodri and Eddie are the only ones guaranteed a start.

Silva missed the sun nothing we can do about that the club did everything they could to get him a move at a reasonable fee but it didn't happen same with laporte (he lost his starting spot) our club doesn't force players to stay if they don't want to. Sterling will be offered a contract if he turns it down the club will try to get him a move to keep everyone happy but if he turn it down he will stay. In my opinion given the choice between players of similar ability I would choose to play the guy who will be playing that role next season.
