hope Sterling charges them something like 400k a week or more.

its very clear Sterling does not want to stay otherwise he would have signed an extension long months ago. he is important player but not integral to the first 11 in the same way as KDB, Bernardo, Haaland, Rodri etc. if Chelsea offers him that and great salary, its not a bad move for him as long as they can fight for trophies.

quite serious transfers needs to be made at Chelsea this summer, upfront, defence, wing, everywhere. that with Cech, Granowskaia just fired...

Good move to sell him for the numbers being touted - £50-£60m plus another £15m in saved wages is a big offset to any business we might do next summer

people saying we wont have enough are looking at how we used to play versus how we will play with Haaland in the team

that guy alone will replace Sterling and Jesus’s goals from last season plus we have an Alvarez cherry on top to make sure

plus it allows us to get minutes into Cole Palmers career and perhaps gives a pathway for Mcatee

if we can get a left back in then we should close the book on this summers transfer business

we can then have a proper run at Bellingham next summer to replace Gundogan , we’ll have £150m + burning a whole in our pocket ready to blow the scouse cnuts out of the water

I don't know who is out there that you can sign as a direct Sterling replacement.

But he wants to go and if he wants to go now he would presumably want to go at the end of his deal. Better to grab a fee and get his wages off the books because he was very far from being a nailed-on starter for the coming year.

I halfway wonder if you might see more of Bernardo on the right wing such as was done in the second half of the 18/19 season. Phillips, Foden, Grealish, or even McAtee picking up more of the minutes in midfield.

Pep's City have shown us that you don't necessarily "replace" a departed player - more so find other ways to use the ones you have.

If we want a right footed option then Gnabry or the two footed Moussa Diaby? Nkunku probably unattainable this summer. Though no apparently serious links to any of them as yet, if at all

60m would be fantastic for a player wanting to move. You would like to think the club has a plan in place. Probably didn’t expect him to go this season so may need to step up plans to get in a replacement. Jack should be able to step up.
