Ironically Jesus has his iconic City moment thanks to the Southampton goal in the final minute to secure the 100 points. For all his brilliance(and there was lots) Sterling will be remembered for missing open goals for me.

Ironic indeed, in that the very same season Sterling scored a last minute winner against southampton at home which sparked crazy scenes. No 100pts without that goal either.

Everton 1 1 equaliser
Bournemouth 1 2 winner
West Brom 2 3 last goal for us
Huddersfield 1 2 winner

Right now actually nobody knows what he really wants. They hesitated but have offered him a new wage that is on parity with the other wingers some weeks ago - but he still hesitates. Maybe because of the Mane signing and because he waits what happens with Lewandowski as he can be used as a 9 (atleast in combination with the other more strikerlike players), too.
 
We will probably accept 45-50M£, but letting him go without replacement is a massive mistake, we need rivalry and depth in the attacking zone.

They don't record the stat for the guy that puts the killer ball through for the winger to square the ball into the box for a goal, if so Silva would be off the charts for assisting the assist.

Strange this is it looks as though Sterling will be joining Raphina and Dembele (if stories are to be believed) as well as Havertz, Werner, Pulisic, Mount, CHO, Ziyech battling for 3 spaces.

Now I get a few may leave. But I don’t think it’s a guarantee Sterling sees a huge increase in playing time. Especially if Tuchel sticks with the 5 at the back.
