As a fan I’d rather have Sterling for one more season and let him go for nowt than to give Chelsea a player of Sterling Quality!

Business why’s you can see getting the money is there call and just maybe Sterling wants a new challenge, Chelsea also had to make him there best ever payed player!
 
Mixed feelings.

Don't want him to go but it's probably the right time.

Think he's world class but hasn't really shown his best form for 2 years.

Think £45m is a steal for Chelsea but understand we can't really demand more.

Wish Pep would trust him more but understand why he doesn't.

Just feel sad that he's not going to see his career out with us.
 
Will forever be a legend and served us fantastically. He’s got some stones on him. To go what he’s been through, and still play with a smile and in the main been a real danger in our side.

Good luck to him. £45-£55m seems cheap for what he is, but brilliant money in his circumstances.
 
A shame it's ending with him going to a rival but that's the footballing world we're in. Can't begrudge him anything after years of importance but he wasn't going to get KDB wages and playing time guarantees here.

Perfect move for him and he'll do well there. Plus it's £45m to us which is fantastic given he'd have been gone on a free next Summer.
 
like sterling think he has been an asset to us but think this deal suits all . not in peps first 11 any more 1 year left and 50 million ish . id be surprised if he scores more than 10 premier league goals next season

He took a gamble by joining us from dippers and kept his head down to constantly try and improve despite copious amounts of abuse, been a model professional on and off the pitch, he has shown lot of youngsters across the league how to carry themselves, he's been respectful and he wants to leave in a good manner, which I think both him and the club are fine with since it might be time for a new challenge and onto newer things. He will always be remembered as one of the key players in our most successful era, has won us plenty games and contributed in many others.

Wish him well for whatever he does for the remainder of his career. Just not so much at Chelsea, he can keep them where they currently are haha.

He'll be missed. 'Raheem Sterling he's top of the league!' will always bring back good memories in future.

he not even close to getting the legend status like the real legends of our clubs. don't even dare to compare sterling with vinny, silva or aguero.
