Raising the pension age to 75

One of my best mates is the chief rigger at Sellafield, he’s 70 loves his job a doesn’t want to retire, it’s never a one size fits all situation.
Correct, but how many people of that age will be physically capable and work at a speed that justifies employment?

Think how much the govt saves with this. How many will die before their pension compared with 65? It’s a piss take. People deserve a twilight after working for so long.

They won’t save anything!

Your NI contributions are not for your pension, they pay the pensions of current retirees.

Your state pension will be paid for by your kids.

People also forget that the people working longer then keep jobs that our youngsters should be taking,

The whole system is fucked up, but people will allow it to happen without lifting their heads from their mobile phones.

We have a higher NI rate than Norway who has better social security benefits and their pension fund is the most powerful investment vehicle in the world.

Corporation tax is relatively the same, and top rate income tax rates are higher here!

Their debt-to-GDP is also virtually nothing.

Something odd is happening.
