I'm a born in bred Celtic fan, so thats why. As for no mark, Celtic are world famous and respected by the vast majority of elite teams out there, Hardly no mark. Your different league different country argument would make sense to me if I was English, but I'm not therefore the same argument could apply to City tbh,

Pub football.
Aye ok.

Get together to give Rangers fans a kicking because of what they did to your city. Are you for real, what they left a bit of litter which was cleaned up by mid morning the next day.
Would have helped if Manchester had actually planned for the event in the first place.
150,000 plus people there that day, 42 arrests, 7 charged. Probably equates to 0.2% of the people there.
Put it this way, City get to the CL final, it's held in Glasgow, the city doesn't want you there, tell you not to travel, put no fan zones up until the last minute.
The weather is great, no restriction on beer, great day is had even with no tickets, the biggest day in the clubs history and just as the game is about to be put on the big screens for the 100,000 that haven't got tickets, Strathclydes finest switch the fecking screens off because the place is too crowded as they didn't cater for the amount of support.
Pissed of, you bet. Riot, no. The tiny tiny minority of rioters let Rangers down badly but the vast majority had a great day and were involved in nothing.
What they did to our city, feck off.

As usual, what the Rangers fans did, was brought on themselves. The screens were switched off because some arses were chucking stuff at the technicians.

And I suppose the Russian lad walked onto the end of that blade.

City, rags & GMP teaming up - don't think so.

Only 42 arrests out of 150,000 - well done you; you must be very proud.

The bottom line is that if any English club had done to Manchester what Rangers had done, along with the shocking scenes of violence where they were running round like packs of dogs, the English club (if not all English clubs) would have received a summary ban from European competition.

You lot may be proud of your drinking, your fighting, invasion of places because you're all so cool and hardcore, your marching, your sashes (if you're 'Gers) or your tricolours (if you're Celtic) but...

I can tell you now from my own experience, the majority of people I have spoken to, supporters of clubs all around the world, all to a man find you nothing more than archaic, dinosaurs of clubs, with outdated views and absolutely laughable, pathetic, boorish fans.

You may have had success previously in Europe, but your days as footballing powers are finished. In footballing terms, you serve up the equivalent of League 1 standard (and that's generous). If you want to get steamed up about that, fine, but leave the City forum to City fans please.

I wouldn't dream of swamping a Rangers or a Celtic forum, mainly due to the fact I support one team, not 4 or 5 (just to hedge my bets) like the Scots/Irish seem to do which is in no small part due to the fact the 'main' teams they support are so rank.

Thanks for coming; door's that way --->

So you reckon that because i live in Northern Ireland and support MCFC that City are rank?
I support City and while I dont get to anywhere near as many games now as i used to do a few years ago (when i still had two jobs, one to pay mortgage and bills the other to pay for flights tickets for away games and season ticket for eastlands etc), i still get over to about 6 or 7 games most seasons.
From time to time i will attend an irish league game on a saturday when City are playing on the sunday, and when in scotland last year at our cricket clubs pre-season tour, when the game on the sunday was called off i visited Ibrox for the second time in my 41 years on this planet.

Sorry to offend you, but i know where the door is, but having "enjoyed" seeing johnny macken score from his own half at preston, stayed in Manchester for the tuesday evening game against grimsby, etc etc, i have no intention of getting off the "roller coaster" now, or for that matter ever.

These 2 legs when they play the rags will be the only time this season i want this SCUM to win.
