I look at the window from several points of view
1. Who we signed - whilst Grealish is said by a lot on here to be the same as others we have - already in the 3 games to date, I believe that he has proven that assessment to be wrong. He has an ability to go past players far better than others in the squad and that I believe is going to be key to opening up 10 man defences - something that we struggled with last year. And that will be certainly even better when Phil and Kevin are alongside him
2. Who we didn't sign - I am glad we did not get milked by Levy for Kane - the club has received so much flak for not getting that deal done. IMO they should be applauded for setting a limit on the valuation and not getting mugged - that will help us in future transfers, whereas if we had paid £160-180m then that would have seen us fucked over in future transfers
Also really glad that we were not in for Messi and would have only signed Ronaldo on our terms - we should want our club to not become some show pony circus.
Also glad we did not sign any old 'make-do striker' just to appease the clamour from the needy fans - IMO, we fans need to recognise that the club is now at a level where top quality players are needed - not just quantity
3. Who we kept - glad we did not let any of those players rumoured to be unhappy leave - and given there display at the weekend - they are happy
So 9/10 for me
