Wasted our own time, didn't replace Aguero or even attempt to sign a left back, even when one got thrown at us on the last day.

I like Grealish and I hate ronaldo with every fibre of my being. Otherwise the score would have been a lot lower.

I already predicted that Chelsea were going to win the league this season and now I'm almost totally convinced that we'll continue to falter when it matters.

Still, despite all that, I'm looking forward to the season.

7/10 signed grealish, but also kept, jesus, laporte, bernie, and ruben signed an extended contract, of course I would of liked a striker and lb, but the squad is excellent, and we will be challenging on all fronts again

We were already the best team in Europe and now we have added another (improving) world class midfielder, and promoted some of the most exciting kids in the game.Retaining amazing players, while clearing some deadwood, and bringing in good money, has also been a huge positive.

There is much to be excited about........the pessimism is unjustified,OTT and very unhealthy, with some reactions being ridiculous and pathetic,to those members, get a fucking grip.

8/10.
The point about exciting kids is spot on. In Palmer and Delap you have lads with a real chance. McAtee is likewise really gifted and there are a host of others. It would have been totally counterproductive to bring a 37 year old rag in on £500k per week blocking progress.
If you look at this window in total isolation and just signings, it is underwhelming, but you have to look at the bigger picture, including contract renewals. We lost no one we want to keep, got rid of a couple we don’t, renewed a number of key contracts, signed Grealish and we still have money to spend going forward, when the real fiscal impact of COVID will see clubs across Europe desperate to raise money. We are well set.

continuing to falter, fucking hell ,play our usual line up and formation in the fa cup and champions league, we could of been looking at the best season ever imo, continue to falter, maybe you need to check your expectations a little

7/10.
We kept Laporte. This alone could prove huge. Having Jesus, Bernardo and others stay is a big plus too. All 3 have played really well so far and I think we have yet to see the best of Jesus.

In the long term this could be a very important window. Yes, we need a striker and everyone knows it. But everyone now also knows we will 100% not deal if the price isn't sensible.

Hate to say it and I hope Justice is served, but anything that gets Mendy out of the first team is a bonus.

We've already been beaten again by Spurs this season. Leicester continue to be somewhat of a problem. Chelsea beat us three out of four times. We continue to struggle in derbies.

We've got the best squad in Europe but only a single player who is amongst the best in the world when it comes to making the difference. The intention at the start of the summer was to add another in the front line and we've let that go by.

It shouldn't be a surprise to you that people think we'll continue to struggle to break down the best teams who actually play with a cohesive defensive unit.

As for checking my expectations? I reckon we'll finish second or third so are you saying I should go lower?

I'd be happy with that finish, by the way. Maybe not at the end of last season but certainly looking at how we've not really strengthened this summer when two of our biggest rivals have.

I don't get why everyone is complaining. We have an amazing squad that re-invents itself every year!

Who would have thought that last year Gundogan will be our top scorer. This year Torres is going to impress and score lots of goals and Jesus is like buying a new right winger!!!

We have 3 of the best CBs in the PL if not the world in our team. Cancelo has been great on the left in the last 2 games

Grealish is a solid addition that can give Sterling competition. Bernardo is playing his best football again.

We can compete and beat any team in the League and if we are consistent we can retain the league!

Let's have some faith in our players!

I'm pleased in on way, but disappointed in another as it just doesn't match up to what Khaldoon said at the end of last season.

Maybe in reading it wrong, we did go big and we could say Grealish in and an injury prone aguero out is strengthening, but I just expected more and not this apparent strategy of one target, eggs in one basket.

That said, we've spent less in uncertain times, kept quality, kept the harmony and time will tell. I think January may be an extension of this window in effect for us, by then we could find ourselves needing a LB and handling a couple of players who want out.

Plus I don't think it is all our fault and don't get the Txixi bashing. Kane basically declared he's happy to win jack squits as a professional to stay at spurs, so what can you do. By the very act of declaring that he's showing that he doesn't have the desire we need when it counts. Even their captain is truly Spursy, so fair enough. This isn't the striker we've been looking for.

I do hope in reality we were nowhere near that preening prick Ronaldo though.

Would have give it 11 if I could, sold those that needed to and added a top class player and the most exciting Brasilian young player since Jesus
