First half more than happy
Then typical this season we couldn't have a good second half.we have to address this inconsistency especially away from home. Good to see Jack influencing games. Second half we was outplayed and no changes from pep ?

This season is the opposite. We've been garbage most first halves and got better 2nd half. Palace, Arsenal, Tottenham....etc.

it is pep at least in part...listen to his aftr match comments talking about control and an extra pass (refering to Gundo, Grealish and Mahrez in particular)....well the players have got into bad habits now and NONE of them are making those forward passes cause he wants control and that extra pass gives Pep the control he wants

I think Pep has lost himself a little at present.

doesnt matter....we are playign the same way in what ever comp it is.......same turgid sideways passing...ever since the WC this new way Pep has spoken about he has found olf playing isnt working

I think Jack is trying to be direct, unfortunately one or two players doing it doesn't really work, we need the whole team to attack the goal, build some pressure, with intensity.
Pass to the big invisible lad up front.
We've always passed the ball sideways but we used to do it to create space, now we do it cos we are static.

Never thought I'd say this but Jack might be our most consistent player right now.

We were. Deep down, do we all know that was our chance, at least for a couple of years. We beat that knackered liverpool side in the final.

We outplayed madrid for 179 minutes. Not sure we'll do that this season Ray.

So many times they had opportunities to play it into space...and they refuse....and its not just this game and its not that we didnt have KDB as he hasnt been doing it either anywhere near as much or as successfully as he should be doing this season

Oh for David Silva....Haaland would have a field day!

We are still capable of that level (although it is bit much in expecting it week in week out) and we are making sure that we don't get hit on the counter attack on a regular basis.

Agree totally. Putting a full 90 mins together has been almost impossible. Even the derby, where we ripped them a new one, we turned off, understandly so. The lack of a full 90 mins of quality, concentration and commitment is a worry - not as worrying as how shit we are to watch, but it is a worry.
