Rooney's gesture was far more sinister than just an appeal.
It looked more like "Come on! This is what you've been paid for."
Why did Foy ignore it until Rooney started bleating?
No point in hoping decisions will go our way if there is some kind of outside influence. Rooney had control over Foy.

City to appeal Kompany red card
He'll only get an extra game if it is deemed to be a frivolous appeal. It's hardly that, when every single person I've heard discuss it so far has said it should not have been a red card. Oh - except Fergie.

Totally agreed mate.
Every commentator, pundit (except that twat Keane) and person with common sense has said that Foy made the WRONG decision and it was certainly not a Red. If 'neutral' commentators and football experts (Keane far from being expert cos he dumb as donkey shit) say that the Red is unjustified, I can strongly see this being reduced to a 1 or 2 match ban as the FA will want to suck Foys balls and and stand by their man and still agree it was a red.

Not a chance it will be overturned and we will lose him for an extra game so we'll be forced to drop it.
However I was impressed with Micah at centre back and I really like what I've seen from Savic so far so I'm certain we will be ok without him.
