Saw one lad being refused onto the 11:35 pm out of Palma to Madrid. Last flight of the night and if there were any flights early Tuesday they looked expensive as fuck, poor lad

I'm all for having a drink and probably had 2-3 too many pre match.

However, the bloke who was refused onto our flight had earlier been boasting about watching the game on TV despite having a ticket.

So he'd bought flights and train tickets (plus £60 for a match ticket), but couldn't be arsed travelling from the Playa Mayor to the Bernabeu

Correct me if I'm being stupid here, but this makes very little sense to me.

I mean for a start you can just completely disregard the "A beats B, and B beats C, so A beats C, rules of conkers" paragraph in the middle. It is, as every knows, just misguided football fan nonsense.

But anyway, my point is, they're openly admitting that our incredible home record doesn't stem from the opposition's fear of an intimidating atmosphere created in the stands which transforms professional footballers into rabbits in the headlights that are shining all around them, but it seems that they somehow see this as a positive (????)

They're admitting that we don't need a night of uncharacteristic craziness from visiting teams to create or keep this record. No twelfth man is required by our team. Normally dependable teams, or individuals, freezing in fear with their eyes as big as saucers is achieved at the Etihad simply by the applications of the eleven on the pitch. And that's a positive to them???? Wow.

I see it as the complete opposite.

It should be a cause of huge concern for them in my opinion.

Saw lads being refused at the first ticket check. No idea what the problem was but you did need your Passport or Driving License at that point. Going into that ground is like no other.

This happens at virtually every away in England and in Europe. Lads get so tanked up they miss the game. Of course, some miss their flights back home.

This will be from a typical Real fan who has never set foot in any football ground let alone ours. You could only hear the City fans for large parts of the game on Tuesday. I guarantee despite our smaller ground and no roof, you'll be hearing City fans again for the majority on Wednesday.

I just got back from the worlds most plastic ground, worse even that the rags and Barca. It was a nice ground, and quite loud on occasions, maybe it was the drink but I didn’t find it at all intimidating. Your fans are like Bellingham, whining fucking pussies
