Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

Me too, hate it …. and for tonight (maybe longer) I actually hate football and how it makes me feel. Brings out the absolute worst in me, no wonder my heart is fvcked.
My wife has asks me all the time, why do you do this to yourself? It doesn't seem like you enjoy it.

I usually respond half jokingly that football games aren't something you enjoy, they are something you endure.
It doesn't feel so joking on nights like this though.

Sometimes I think it was better when all we played for was not being relegated because this is stealing my sleep.

We lost that game not because we are not good enough but because we lack leadership. 2 up a few minutes to go you start playing ugly.

You get a few fouls.

You “pull” a hammie.

You get “concussed”.

All this trying to score instead of plying into the corner and retaining possession cost us.

We are not ready for the CL it takes more than great football to win and Madrid proved that!

Agree on that. We have got to be more streetwise.

Doing what it takes that is the mentality we lack!
Nah if that was any of our players, that’s a straight red. Foden got a yellow for being sandwiched by 2 Madrid players. What was Sterling’s yellow for? What’s with the lack of extra time compared to the first leg, when all their players went down with cramp.

We will NOT get those decisions so we can’t suddenly start playing dirty.
