he was subbed off on saturday due to injury. didn’t train today. according to twitter he’s travelling to madrid.

i heard that it’s nothing major but maybe he’ll have to miss the madrid game.

I thought it was just a precaution to sub him on saturday. Massive loss just when he was gaining his momentum. Hopefully it’s a minor knock .

Rico is going to have to play LB with Akanji at RB against Vinicius. Really not ideal. We have to just bring something back to The Etihad that we can work with. It’s going to be a very tough game.

I think Pep might be telling the team they have to suffer in this one! We've not got many defensive options, the back 4 picks itself really. But it is what it is. I'm still not sure how the game will play out. We should keep the ball comfortably and I would expect us to play very safe passes almost playing for the 0-0 draw in truth. But after last season's result I think Real will be a lot more aggressive at home.

Good luck to the lads, we've got an excellent squad. We might be missing Ake, Walker and Gvardiol but Rico, Stones, Dias and Akanji can do a job. Communication will be key. It's a back 4 that is excellent on the ball.
