It is a measure of where we are being upset taking a slender lead to the biggest club in the world to make the CL final which we expect to win. It won't be a good as this forever cherish the moments.

What a fantastic game.. fair play to Madrid for playing football and not trying to kick us off the park.
We should have scored more but we looked so good going forward.
It was difficult not having any of our regular fullbacks playing..but next week they should both be back.
Felt sorry for Fern.. fantastic cross to Phil but they getting caught out on half way line..
2nd half they targeted Fern which meant our players had to move moreover to that side to help which then left room on the other wing for them.
I couldn't be any prouder of our players. We were exceptional..I think we will win over there..they have to attack and with walker back it make us much more solid and we will catch them on the break.
Brilliant atmosphere too..bloody throat sore as fuck this morning..

Daft scouse, rag twat. We can draw 15-15 and still go through. Maths not your strong point at the moment is it. Plenty of time for you to improve though seeing as you are in year four at the moment. And you might want to look at the your use or lack of capital letters as well. In fact you might want to sort yourself a tutor out for year 6 SATs, you have two years to go.

Saw some bloke being led around the pitch in a replica top beaming with pride. Cock Womble of the highest order, hope City rip him to pieces. Three minutes to go, we are attacking and he sends his kid on the pitch. Maybe a night in prison wouldn't go amiss as well for both of them.
 
A game for the neutral football supporter that was. A nervy rollercoaster of a game for fans of either side.

We could, and should have put them away and have our bags packed for Paris by half time but the buggers wouldn't lie down.

Job halfway done though, and we can see them off in Madrid next week. Just one thing more to say.... Thank God they scrapped the away goal rule!

They sent their dirty niggly scum bag version Athletico last round we went toe to toe with them and beat them at home and got the job done away.

They sent their non defending pugalists to us this time and we went toe to toe with them and beat them at home and hopefully will get the job done away.

We are absolutely massive.

I don’t to count my chicks before they’ve hatched and want to remain cautious until we are through. My worry is with VaR and dodgy reffing being possible unpredicted hindrances. If only we could have had a 2/3 goal lead which was deserved but for our leaky show at the back. It would have also made Leeds game less nervy.
 
Crazy to think we won the game and left disappointed but the main thing is we have the lead. The return leg will be just as much fun hopefully we can get the win.
 
So on reflection of a crazy game

At 3-1 pep should of changed the game plan as it was like a cup final. At 3-1 Mahrez who was very poor should of been replaced by Gundy or Grealish & midfield closed down. Fern should also of been told to stay back. Ridiculous he kept going forward against their biggest threat, all which led to their goal. Yes he also got us our third but that was the time to stay back after this.

game management cost us the game. We should be going to Madrid with at least 2 goal advantage. 4 if we actually had a striker.

I expect many more goals in Madrid so it’s 50/50 who goes to final
