Real Madrid Vs Manchester City Post Match Thread

Read a few of Greasy's posts. Jesus tonight. It must be horrible for his like to know that City won't be giving away many trolling opportunities this season.

I was really proud of the gutsy 2nd half performance but we need to be clinical in finishing. We cannot afford to miss chances at this level. Like a few have said earlier, our defensive frailties were exposed AGAIN tonight by a team that really needed to win and chased us down all over the pitch.
We just need to get behind the boys again and hopefully they will bounce back from this upset. You could tell by JH interview that he was pissed off and I'm sure they will tighten up. Let's not forget the bernabeu is an imposing stadium, they have got to come to ours yet!!!
The blues sounded great , hope you all get home safely.

IT WAS REAL MADRID AWAY, FFS!

I agree but in the position we were in makes it harder to swallow (and my toe hurts after kicking the couch when tranny scored)!!

When they equalised so quickly I'm afraid I expected nothing else, and him, and to be fair, and I rarely am where City are concerned, they did deserve to win over 90 minutes.

Absolutely agree mate. I am a glass half full person and always try to take the positives. We need a thumping win on Sunday.

Seeking positives where I can. Fell to the floor when the Brycreemed bender scored and realised just how filthy my carpet was. Did a post-match hoover and felt 1% better.

If we have had been 3-0 down and came back to lose 3-2 it would have been a completely different feeling.

What doesnt change though is we still went to the second hardest away fixture on the planet and got ourselves into a winning position.

The lads will be gutted but they'll sit back after that and think we can fucking do this in europe, thats what im thinking now anyway.

Forza mancini, forza city.
