#isco has still not signed any contract in #Madrid, and haven`t even passed a Medical, they simply announced him to keep #mcfc away

Mischief making.

It strikes me that, people on here, who continue to mention the name Mario Gomez, know absolutely rock all about the man. He's lazy, most of his goals are lucky tap ins, or go in off his knee, ankle, belly, nipple, arse or cock. I thought we were going forward!? I've said it before, I have the utmost of absolute faith and trust in Txiki and Soriano and I'm sure our club is not looking at such average players. If so, then I'll scratch my arse and sniff my fingers.

Maybe if Dzeko stayed in the box maybe he would score more goals then!

"In Tixi we trust" I'm really starting to hate that line! Not proved anything yet!

Dzeko hardly played, but still scored goals when he did. Dzeko is a far better footballer than Gomez. Granted, he's no Lewandowski, Cavani, or Falcao, however, he does work and doesn't have a posh hair style that needs constant finger treatment. Gomez, my arse!

if aguero was realistic transfer target, who the fuck is cavani not to be realistic ? :) what has he done more than aguero had done by that time, was aguero at same level as cavani is now and was aguero younger and had potential to be better ? yes
so why cavani is not realistic transfer target for us ? it's realistic but we aren't gonna pay 50M for him when we signed aguero for 40. 35 for cavani is real price, or 20M+dzeko. for 25-35M we can buy strikers which we be as better as cavani can be for us. for example: levandowski, jovetic and others :)
in the past we were paying and buying a lot of players, but now a player which can strengthen us must have special skills and special style of playing. now we are a team and now buying players becomes more difficult than in the past, when we were building it :D so don't worry guys, we are one of the top transfer market players but as i can see we have become more realistic and more serious. that makes me happy :)

I hope the telegraph article is taking the piss. Our targets to replace tevez are Cardozo, osvaldo, negredo or gomez. All second fucking rate shite.

We should be going for the likes of Suarez, lewandowski, cavani etc.

Hope to fuck we aren't going backwards.

After being knocked back by Isco and on Cavani and the fact we are reigning in wages I'm afraid we will be looking at Plan B's and the second rung.

Think along lines of Fernandinho and Navas, the types where no one else are after, but can still be good for us.

I think I'd be happy to have a player that's lucky enough to score 40 goals a season. So what you're saying is that he has some of the best positioning in the world?

I'll never understand football fans who turn their noses up at goals. You aren't awarded more points for beating a man off the dribble or playing a sublime pass to make the goal happen. I could go either way with Gomez, but the way he scores his goals is a pro, not a con, in regards to the player. I don't really care how he puts them in the back of the net, the guy has pretty clearly proven that he CAN put them in the back of the net regularly.

We need a striker to actually stay in the middle and put the ball in the net. That's not "being lazy", that's knowing your position. Half the time we get in down the flanks due to some lovely interplay between our midfielders and then there's noone in the box, it's a complete waste. Stick Gomez or Cardozo in the team and tell them to stand in the middle and let everyone else do the "hard work", while they put the cherry on the cake

Some simian BBC commentator said last night that Spain manage to score goals by filling the centre forward space with a rotating midfielder. I think we should sign him.

There's a hint of irony in what I say about his goals, but believe me, he wouldn't and couldn't hack it in the premier league. He's not good enough for Bayern, so why should we want him. Nice hair though ;)

75 league goals in 115 games for Bayern suggests he's good enough.

Make for some great songs if he keeps scoring with his cock

Frankly I couldn't care less about how a new striker scores, so long as they are scoring. Personally I think Gomez is the better than Dzeko but there's no point in a replacing Dzeko as it would be the same story all over again as with Edin's first year as with Bundesliga players they have to get used to the more games per season and no winter break.
