I think Taylor is a very good referee - better than Oliver, and the best in the country. I also think his worst performances are when refereeing us.

He had a good game yesterday though. Not perfect, but then again not one single player earned a 10/10 in any of the ratings I have seen.

We can all recite the bad performances involving us, as we've talked about them numerous times. Yesterday, he rightly stepped in to diffuse a flashpoint incident - good refereeing. If only he had done that a few years ago, he wouldn't have had to show red cards to Sergio and Fernandinho.

He could have cautioned a couple more of their players (Cucarella dive, Gallagher for accumulated fouls). On our side, the penalty was correct, but most referees wouldn't have given it. Hence not a 10/10 performance from him.

It was good to see him caution Doku for his ridiculous dive. Hopefully Doku will remove that from his game.

He's the worst by a country mile, Chelsea vs us in 2017, Sergio v Luis, Fabtigas v Fernie, utterly disgraceful, the Newcastle pen v Wolves, Rodri sending off could have been defused (potentially cost us 6 points) could go on and on and on. He was better than his gutter standard yesterday after his demotion.

I didn't say he was a perfect referee, just that he had a decent game yesterday, and is a good referee generally. Just my opinion though.
