Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

Problem was, VAR can't give yellows can it? So once the ref 'missed' giving anything, it was only ever going to be a red or nowt
A better system would be if VAR got the referee to come to the monitor because they thought it was a red but the ref on seeing it thought it didn't warrant this but on the second viewing he realised the severity by giving a yellow.

All good rhetoric. Anything concrete to back it up m barring you knowing it to be true?
Back what up ? The league table for one. 100 points against 4 last match of the season brilliant games. Far more people in the UK never mind the far East will have watched City v Villa and Dips v ? than they did City getting the title sown up months ago and going for 100 points. I have no written facts but it's simple business. Selling advertising, match packages and individual contracts when it's all to play for is far easier than saying 'wanna buy the TV rights, City will win but come on 2nd place is really tight'

Ok, so it is a feeling based on hindsight.

Have the PL come out and suggested the new TV deal has been hampered by City winning the league 5 in 6 seasons?

Assuming you are correct, they’ve not manipulated the conclusion anyway, they’ve just “made it interesting“ for the viewer.

Ok

I don't know why you get involved with Mr Contrary - most of us put him on ignore ages ago.
People have differing opinions. Nobody has been personal nor abusive. I’d happily discuss this with anybody, as long as it is civil and in good faith.

Our first goal. No credit whatsoever can be given to the idiot with the whistle. Walker clearly fouled, the ref didn't miss it simply didn't give it. Then the follow up assault happened which was again ignored before Bernie decided to take matters into his own hands.
Game manipulation in plain sight.

Linesman gave it but the ref did play advantage on this one, fair play, he got plenty wrong though.

Might as well get ref to watch monitor all game save him being close to action
Moss would be back like a shot
