Clear penalty, not sure what the fuss is all about.
He also gave one that hit Raheem Sterling on his back AND it was outside the penalty box, as I recall v Tottenham.Clattenburg on Amazon questioning the pen…. Wtf. I remember him giving one against Lescott at Chelsea when his arm was in front of his body… the hypocrite.
Simple it’s a pen for every other team bar City …there are actually people out there who thought it wasn't a pen , I mean can anyone explain this to me I don't understand this was a pen in 1963 is in 2023 and will be 2063 its crazy
Yep, an absolutely mental decision, it wasn’t dangerous it wasn’t cynical it was merely a bit clumsy. Jack pointed out to the clown that he hadn’t booked Tarkowski a few mins earlier for scything through Alvarez with an infinitely more dangerous tackle that i dont think he even gave a free kick for.The booking for Grealish was farcical.
Are you saying “egregious Pauline”? :-)Yep, an absolutely mental decision, it wasn’t dangerous it wasn’t cynical it was merely a bit clumsy. Jack gets kicked to fuck pretty much all night long and only the most egregious tackles get punished by the ref but he seems to get booked more often than not for the first foul he commits. It’s analogous to the way Eddie gets booked for a tiny bit of time wasting after we’ve watched the opposition keeper take the piss all game long without punishment
Tonight was another night when we shouldn’t forget just how appalling the ref was in the afterglow of a great victory.
Stopped a shot on goal with his arm.Clattenburg on Amazon questioning the pen…. Wtf. I remember him giving one against Lescott at Chelsea when his arm was in front of his body… the hypocrite.
Commentary said "this is what the Goodison faithful wants to see".I've said it many times, it's about game management for the TV and tonight, Shearer confirmed it. At 2-1 it was getting nasty and he basically said the ref was allowing the Everton fouls to go unpunished to make a game of it.
