Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

Its the inconsistency with handballs that gets to everyone, i think it was a pen last night but also thought the Odegaard one against Liverpool should have been given.
You're right, and the season after season rule changes haven't helped either.

Bent twat, strange how a follow through isn't endangering an opponent when that's on one of ours.
I mean the night before Martinez clattered Rashford on the follow through and it wasn’t a foul either, so at least some consistency there.

Clattenberg is worth £13M net Questions should be asked
It’s quite crazy that anyone would use him on their network when he has been booted out of 3 leagues in the past and reported by fellow refs to the authorities for suspected match fixing.

Twitter is funny as fuck United Liverpool and Arsenal fabs crying on each other shoulders how City gets every decision. When they watch games do they have some kind of AI who don't show decisions against City or is this very selective way at looking at what really goes on
It's the way the world works nowadays, they don't watch the games all they see are the highlights. They see one decision which is made to appear contentious by the audio which accompanies it and BOOM! They all comment and it suddenly becomes the whole match.

City get a "contentious" penalty - THEY GET EVERYTHING!

...instead of the reality of what that twat of a referee did last night.
"Biased" doesn't really do his performance justice.

The standard of refereeing in this country is a scandalous disgrace. I watch a match between two teams I don't care about knowing that on a bad day one of them will get stiffed: on a good day they both will. "Stiffed" because cheated is only used for investment. The laws of the game are quite simple: the interpretation inconsistent and incomprehensible. Players get cut off at the knee, and the referee "let's the game flow". Hand to ball is debatable (what colour is the shirt?): ball to hand goes straight to VAR!

Last night the referee was as inconsistent as expected. On the penalty I can see that anything goes now and we may have got the Dec 27 copy of the official interpretation, whatever that is. So, I'm in the position where I can see that the law is an ass but that according to the ass that was a clear penalty. Perhaps we should all ask Jack Grealish for his comments...

so now we are getting liverpool fans saying its bent cos they didnt get the odegaard pen and we got that, thing is they are too myopic to realise that twice in the last 6 games they have committed fouls which led to goals which were far less than the one that dias goal was ruled out for at our place not to mention the penalty that wasnt given against them at sheffield united but as ever was the case where scousers are concerned you cant fix stupid.

Have you got a reliable source for that? Not sure how anyone would know, but most sites put it at about £1.5m, which would be fairly low considering he was supposed to be on £500k tax free in Saudi and PL/UEFA referees here are pretty well paid compared to the average salary.

this is mental, I am 100% sure that if it is not City getting this pen it's not discussed.
its pen has always been always will you can't block a shoot with your hand raised above your head under delebered or not, what is happening to football decisions, mental

They're both penalties

Just because the refs at the Liverpool match got it wrong doesn't mean ours was wrong

I'm more curious why nobody pulled Dyche up on his "the lino is 50 yards away" how big does that **** reckon a pitch is?
