I’m afraid your info about him being from Wythenshawe is also wrong. Despite what Wikipedia says. He’s from
Altrincham.

Taylor most definitely is local. He attended Altrincham Boys Grammar School and his birth place is Wythenshawe (probably the hospital maternity wing).
He should not be refereeing City or Rag matches which is another inditement of the useless twats at PGMOL.
He completely lost it after the Rodri red card and was running around like a headless chicken missing all-sorts of shenanigans by Forest.
As a Club we are far too placid about demanding that certain referees do not get appointed to officiate at our matches.
He is from Wythenshawe. He did go to Altrincham Grammar School though and was in my mate’s class there. Taylor was an Altrincham fan as a kid.I’m afraid your info about him being from Wythenshawe is also wrong. Despite what Wikipedia says. He’s from

Of course I'm not but then we don't only convict criminals when they visit the local nick and hand themselves in!Let me get this straight. You’re expecting some sort of official statement from Howard Webb or Alison Britton along the lines of “We believe that a successful Manchester United and Liverpool contributes to the appeal of The Premier League, globally. The dominance of Manchester City, we believe, threatens the fabric of our game and the significant American investment in traditionally successful clubs. Therefore we have been trying to stack the deck by announcing various investigations and charges before big games and being creative in our match officiating.”
Do you recall Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini? Football is a multi billion pound international industry and if you think there’s no corruption then I would like to book a two week holiday in your head as it sounds fucking lovely in there.
Our fouls weren’t punished with instant cards.Regardless of where he's from; his aim was to reduce the, perceived gap, between the two teams.
1) City's fouls were punished with instant cards and/or free kicks.
2) He appeared more lenient towards Forest.
Foden was consistently pulled as he moved away from a defender yet nothing given, either at the time or retrospectively.
WHY did he not book their player in the first minute for stopping Haaland????
Yet that allows the player another one!
Could you imagine in cricket ball smashing in to the pads first up and the umpire saying not out cos it'll ruin the game?
Wouldn't happen.
Taylor showed his inconsistency last year at Liverpool.
Let everything go. And it made a great game.
However, when Haaland was involved in 50/50 in the build up to a 'goal', he let the VAR tell him it was a foul.
The sort of foul he'd let go all game.
It was at the far end of the ground from me, and I haven’t seen a replay- but the in-play Guardian and BBC reports both said it wasn’t even a foulOnly one of our fouls we gave away received a yellow card and that was Akanji’s that I thought was a booking.
