No we had the ball and we’re building up play from midfield. Also when the same happened the other way he gave the ball straight to ForestMy guess was that Forest were the last ones to touch it before he blew and so technically it was still in their possession even though it had been booted towards City’s end. However, I also noted that after the drop ball they still booted it into our half and returned possession to City and wondered if it was by arrangement.

He followed through on him, and it certainly looked purposeful. That was about his 4th or 5th agricultural challenge, and I seem to recall him making a couple more after that.And Alan Smith wanted a penalty for Forest.
Ref seemed shit scared of booking them.

Shocking ref last night, PIGMOL doing their hardest to stop us winning the league, I expect an even worse display from the ref at the weekend. If we are to win the league we will need to beat more than just the 11 West Ham players

His oddity as a bloke is almost unnoticeable compared to the oddity of his reffing.Noticed Hooper didn’t look at Haaland when he shuck hands after the game, same with Pep when he was fourth official at Bournemouth. Odd bloke.
