Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

Yep, agree. The 2nd one, even DionnDublin said they were very lucky to get away with that

It's the just the consequence of the rule (interpretation) change at the start of the season as part of Operation Stop Haaland. Why else would they "allow more contact in the penalty area" if not to allow defender's to wrestle against Haaland's strength. It's been happening all year (trial last few games of last season) and was entirely predictable.

The **** set his stall out in the second minute. 2 blatant penalties waved away with contempt, let Onana do what he wanted for as long as he wanted. We were poor but this clown was worse. His incompetence has not improved since Everton at home last season. If not giving a pen in the second minute isn’t a game changer I don’t know what is

The two penalty incidents were penalties. No doubt.
But.... we all knew what would happen if we left our fate in the hands of the officials. They do us no favours.
Yesterday was corruption in plain sight. Our lack of urgency and inability to perform to usual levels is the reason we lost, not the referee.

But him as a VAR then he is the almighty - first foul on Haaland was a 50/50 but the second a stonewall - thought we were watching football not wrestling.

The Mainoo one at the time just threw him and dick head Shearer said great defending. Pathetic.
Watched it back this morning and Shearer was a total cnut yesterday.
Great defending my arse.
Then buzzing about the rags time wasting "they're entitled to do it".
Pathetic from him, the bias twat
