If they were bookable because they were trying to stop an attack, then I believe the rule is no yellow, as the attack was allowed to continue.

Agree fully, I'm starting to get a little disappointed though in Doku who seems to be heading down that route.

He needs to realise we get fuck all and going down theatrically isn't going to cut it and give him even less chance of any protection from the officials.

I just cannot see neither why nor how refs consistently award free kicks for the slightest contact that sends a 13 or 14 stone lump to the ground. These are athletes turned cheats. Everyone knows what they're at, even Kyle joined in last night with a swanee! And have a player clattered and horizontalised in mid-air, particularly clad in sky blue, and it's just waved away! It's always good when the offended manager is picked up by the broadcaster and is midway through haranguing the 4th official who, to his or her or their credit, has a look on their face of utter and total embarrassment at what his colleague has just offered the audience.

I am fed up with tierney , we seem to get him a lot and he is biased as hell and supports the narrative that city are the bad guys and refs accordingly

Took a picture from the tv of the frame showing offside with the lines drawn by VAR
The blue line goes through the defender’s ankle joint and the red line BEYOND Bob’s toes.
If the lines were drawn correctly they would at least overlap!!! It’s embarrassingly obvious.
Have tried to upload the image but the server says file too big.

It’s tight, but Bobb’s foot is slightly offside. The cameras used to judge offside are calibrated, unlike taking a photo off a TV screen, so they are probably more accurate.
